This policy explains what One Boring Task (“we”, “us”) collects through oneboringtask.com and how we use it. We've kept it short and plain.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for the free One Boring Task Finder kit or the course waitlist.
- Your first name, only if you choose to give it, so our emails can greet you properly.
- Your choices on the form: whether you asked for course news (the waitlist), and when you signed up and confirmed, so we can show that you gave consent.
We don't ask for anything else on the website. If you reply to our emails (for example, to tell us your most boring task), we'll read and keep that reply.
How we use it
- To send you the free kit and the 5-day email course you asked for.
- If you ticked the optional box (or later asked to join the waitlist): to send you course updates, including when the beta opens, and occasional practical tips.
That's it. We don't sell, rent or trade your details, and we don't use them for advertising profiles.
Unsubscribe any time
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your details, or to tell you what we hold about you, by contacting us (below).
Who helps us
- Email service: we'll use a reputable email marketing provider to store the list and send emails on our behalf. We'll name it here once it's set up.
- Website hosting: our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
No analytics, cookies or trackers
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and it doesn't load fonts or scripts from third parties. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only what's needed to respect that choice (for example, a record that you unsubscribed).
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.
